First off, I would like to thank any of my followers, friends, and readers that have been, will be, or just happen to be reading my blog. It’s been 2 weeks since the start and I’m at over 500 views already, I never thought people would read and enjoy my stuff, let alone share it with everyone, so that being said… THANK YOU!

As we enter the month of November, I know we all have plenty on our minds. As students, we see the end of this semester coming closer, as adults we feel the Holidays coming on (stress and all), and we feel the cooler and nicer weather. We have so much to be thankful for, after all if you’re reading this you’re alive, you’re breathing, you’ve probably had something to eat or drink today, you have eyes that work, a brain that functions, and somewhere along the line you were taught how to read. That is 7 things. 7 things that most people take for granted just because it’s something many of us never actually think about.

There is truly so much to be thankful for in my life. I have the best family in the world, my parents love me and support me through thick and thin no matter what. My friends are absolutely incredible in every conceivable way. I have been blessed with so much!

Going into the next few weeks, into the Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukkah, and New Year’s holidays, I challenge you to sit down and think about everything you have to be thankful for. Make a list, write it out, share it with people. Show the world how much you have to be thankful for and tell everyone who you are truly thankful for how much they mean to you. There is always so much in today’s society that revolves around “me, me, me, me, me”, well now… make it about everyone else for a day or two, go out there and really think about everything you have to be thankful for. I promise, sitting down and writing out a list may not sound like fun, but let it be an experience. A personal eye-opener to help you appreciate life and everything in it. Share with the world how thankful you are for everything and everyone you have.
